Our Adoption Process
Most of our adoptable cats come from TNR or tough situations. If possible, we help them transition into a safe and loving home.
Twitch is a sweet 2-year-old cat (as of 2024) who adores human companionship. While he can be a bit feisty with male cats, he gets along well with female cats and is great with children!
Regina and Dixie are a bonded pair of 2-year-old tuxedo sisters looking for a home together. Regina enjoys sunbathing and bird-watching, while Dixie loves belly rubs and cozy naps. Double the charm, double the love!
Male | ~2 Years Old | Best as Only Cat Scraps is a chatty, affectionate boy with a big personality. He’s playful, curious, and thrives in a calm home where he can be the center of attention.
Emmy is a gentle, 6–7-year-old declawed indoor cat with a calm, affectionate nature. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, and loves the peace of a quiet home. Emmy would be a perfect companion for someone seeking a sweet, low-key cat—ideally in a dog-free environment where she can feel safe and cherished.
Sprout is a 6-year-old neutered boy who’s gentle, loving, and great with dogs and younger cats. He’d thrive in a home with one or two other cats, especially as the “big brother.”
Rescue is a sweet kitty with a big personality! Very playful and loves people!
Thistle is about 6 months old (2025) and loves attention! Would make an amazing family pet!
Every cat we place for adoption is vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and litter box trained.

Our Adoption Fees
We’re so excited to help you find the perfect feline companion!
Our adoption fees help cover a small portion of the care each cat receives before going home. From spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations to flea treatments and food, the actual cost is much higher. We keep fees low to make adoption accessible while still ensuring our cats find committed, loving homes.
Adoption fees are:
$50 – One cat
$75 – Bonded pair or two adult cats adopted together

FAQs
What is included with my adoption?
All of our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (including rabies), dewormed, and litter-box trained before adoption.
Can I adopt if I live outside Nemaha County?
Yes! While we are based in Nemaha County, we welcome adopters from surrounding areas.
What if my adopted cat doesn’t adjust well?
We understand that sometimes things don’t work out. We ask adopters to give their new cat time to adjust, but if an adoption isn’t the right fit, we will work with you to find the best solution, including returns.
What if I need help after adoption?
We’re here for you! If you have any questions or concerns after bringing your cat home, feel free to reach out to us! We’re happy to offer advice and resources to ensure a smooth transition.
Can I adopt if I have other pets?
Absolutely! Many of our cats do well with other pets, but introductions should be done gradually. Let us know about your current pets, and we can help recommend a cat that fits well with your household.
How much is the adoption fee?
Our adoption fee is $50 for a single cat and $75 for a bonded pair. This helps cover veterinary care, food, and other necessities to ensure our cats are healthy and ready for their new homes.
